Update: Legal Challenge to New York SAFE ACT Mounted by We The People of New York, Inc.

Led by We The People of New York, Inc. founder, Robert Schulz, a total of 1,256 plaintiffs from 58 New York counties filed a constitutional challenge against the NY SAFE ACT in the New York Supreme Court in Albany on February 28, 2013. The complaint was served on defendants Governor Andrew Cuomo, Speaker of the Assembly Sheldon Silver, leaders of the State Senate, Senators Dean Skelos and Jeffrey Klein, as well as Attorney General Eric Schneiderman. Secession, Sovereignty, and Salvation: Jefferson Lives!

We are a Rule of Law nation, born of the Enlightenment. We formed our federal government to work at the pleasure of Rule of Law States. We must remind ourselves (and the neo-federalists) that these laws were devised to protect a Sovereign People — by prohibiting the rule of unscrupulous men.

We must learn how to leverage our supreme laws and unalienable rights, effectively and enduringly. Learn to embrace State electoral politics.
