Show Me Nullification

While the HB436 override failed by 1 Senate vote, the campaign to nullify federal gun control continues at the local level in the Show Me State. Visit the Tenth Amendment Center here for the next steps in Missouri.

Currently there are a number of lawsuits working their way through the courts in New York State. They have been brought by New York resident civic groups and challenge the New York Secure Ammunition and Firearms Enforcement Act (NY SAFE ACT) from different angles. But there’s always room for more pressure.

Communists Defend Democratic Socialist in NYC Mayoral Bid

De Blasio’s comrades in the Communist Nicaraguan Sandinista movement were praised by Libya’s lunatic leader Muammar Gaddafi as having the will to “fight America on its own ground,” and they promised a “revolution beyond our borders” in Nicaragua. The Sandinistas, who were backed by the Soviet Union and Castro’s Cuba, seized power in Nicaragua in 1979 and fought in the Middle East with the PLO. New California Law Rejects NDAA Indefinite Detention

This language of AB351 goes far beyond what has been considered in most other states, which focus solely on indefinite detention powers under the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), and nothing else. Donnelly’s legislation broadened the scope by recognizing that indefinite detention should not be complied with no matter what federal law is used to justify it. Donnelly confirmed this broad scope, “AB351 will prevent California from implementing indefinite detention for any reason.” Continue reading

Oral Arguments Made in New York State Supreme Court Case Against Silver for Using Public Funds in Lopez Settlement

“Our elected officials take an oath to obey the NY State and federal Constitutions,” said Schulz. “The prohibition regarding the use of public funds in aid of private undertakings is very clear. Mr. Silver has publicly admitted he did not handle the matter properly.
